I hear you on finding a sense of belonging. The first non-Asian American I've met who knew how to pronounce my last name was a San Franciscan. I was so pleasantly surprised 😅
the appreciation for Chinese American culture in SF runs SO deep among non-Asian Americans, it's such a relief :)
Glad to see "always bring that extra layer" topped the list.
too many evenings of being humbled by San Francisco to not pay respect to the chill
